Help us keep our event safe and covered by our insurance!
Guidelines for those in costume:
Masks are required for this event. If you arrive without one, you may be asked to leave if we have run out of disposable ones.
If your child is wearing a costume, it must be family friendly (no weapons except fake pirate weapons only for those authorized). If your child has been chosen to participate in the main Pirates and Haunted Mansion show, they must arrive in the costume they have agreed to wear. It may be raining or cold, so layers underneath the costume are recommended.
All volunteers must check in with the coordinator before entering the event. If your forms are not completed you may be asked to leave. If you are volunteering with an Elementary PTA and you do not check in, your PTA will not receive credit for your hours.
We prefer that your child participate for the entire event time period. If you need to pick your child up early for any reason, you must check in with the coordinator. We do not want any children 8th grade or younger moving through the car lines without permission from the volunteer staff (to pick up food donations) or being accompanied by their parent or event guardian.
If your child gets sick, please stay home, and email the coordinator so we can call in a waitlisted actor. If your child tests positive for Covid 19 after attending the event, please let the coordinator know. Contact tracing will not be possible for this event, but we can alert those at the event during the date your child was in attendance.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY may be dropped off/drive themselves to this event. They still require a permission slip.
MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS (6th-8th Grade) must have a designated event guardian per 10 students. Permission slip required.
5TH GRADE STUDENTS ONLY may volunteer in this event in a 1-1 ratio with their parent/guardian.
TMSTPTA is not responsible for making sure your child gets home safely. Please be sure you have a plan for your child.
Please email the coordinator (Liana Crandall) at stmspresident1@tmstpta.net with any questions!
